A blend of grenache and syrah with sweet aromas of black fruits and licorice. Medium- bodied with a subtle violet nose, rich mouthfeel, and solid finish. Great with grilled lamb chops, slow roasted pork with wild mushrooms, or roast duck.




Pierre Sparr Gewurtraminer 2000, Alsace, France
$14.99

Dry but supple, with intense fruit and body on the palate. Intensley aromatic on the nose with rose petals and spice. It almost smells sweet but it is distinctly dry with characters of lyches and clove. Fantastic with Thai and Indian food an Alsation dishes like charcroute garni.
 



Argyle Pinot Noir 2002, Willamette Valley, Oregon

Ripe with blackberry and plum flavor. A fantastic pinot for the price with dark cherry, raspberry and sublte earth notes. This is one of the first wines that the great people at Argyle are closing with a screw cap. Great with cedar plank grilled salmon, roast chicken or beef Bourgignon. Great wine and a great conversation piece.




Domaine de la Rossignole Sancerre 2001, Loire Valley, France

This sauvignon blanc has characters of lime, grass, and wet stone on the nose. Clean, crisp minerality. Good acid, drink now! Distinctly dry with lemon and chalk undertones. Great with oysters, asparagus and chevre soufflé, and pesto rubbed halibut.




Marco Negri Moscato d’asti 2002, Italy

A frizzante (half-sparkling) delight with a floral, almost perfumed, nose.This moscato makes a great apertif or an after dinner quaffer. Sweet and refreshing with citrus and melon notes. Great with meringue desserts, fresh fruit, and orange trifle.

This chardonnay exhibits citrus, pear, and mineral on the nose and lemon, apple, and stone on the palate. A distinct and dry style of chardonnay that is unique to Chablis. Great with lemon-taragon chicken, Dungenous crab, and seared scallops with lemon beurre blanc.

Sparkling wine is fantastic During the holidays and Roteri can’t be beat for the price. Try with Battered artichokes, fried oysters, and blend with orange juice for a Great mimosa.
