McWilliam’s Wines is one of Australia’s largest and most highly
regarded family-owned wine companies.

Since 1877, when Samuel McWilliam planted his first vines at Corowa in New South Wales, successive generations of the McWilliam family have been pioneering the art of fine wine making in Australia. The underlying strength and success of McWilliam's Wines for more than six generations has been its belief that wine is made in the country - cultivated and crafted by people with skill and tradition who live and love the vine - not through acquisitions and mergers in corporate boardrooms.

Wines are made by people. Great wines are made by the McWilliam family.

Fruit is predominantly sourced from the Riverina and Hilltops regions in New South Wales, the Yarra Valley in Victoria, and Coonawarra in South Australia.

McWilliams Hanwood Estate Cabernet Sauvignon 2001

A cabernet-lovers everyday pick. This wine is round and filled with ripe berry fruit, a hint of herb, and sassy cedar spice. The finish is long and generous with a fine tannin backbone to support some heartier meals. Serve with pizza, lamb chops, or grilled flank steak.

McWilliam's Hanwood Estate Chardonnay 2002

Lush with dense ripe apple and pear fruit. Hints of peach and butterscotch mingle with firm acid. The wine finishes with a creamy mouth feel, coconut biscuit derived from the oak and lees maturation. A great food partner, try this with light chicken dishes and poached salmon.

McWilliam's Hanwood Estate Shiraz 2001

Spicy blackberry with ripe with plum and dark cherry fruit flavours combined with cedar and cinnamon oak characters. Lingers in the mouth with beautiful hearty fruit tones and structure. Serve with smoked meats, grilled foods, and roasted game.
