September Special!

Merchant’s is happy to present a portfolio of wine from an environmentally conscious winery at a great price. Banrock Station is a spectacular 4,200 acre property located on the mighty River Murray in South Australia. Renowned for crafting flavoursome, full bodied wines, Banrock Station is carefully restoring the wetlands on the property, and is also involved in preserving nature reserves around the world. What a deal-when you buy Banrock Station wine in the month of September you get delicious wine, while helping to preserve the earth, and we help you preserve your wine too!

A softer style of wine, this flavoursome Merlot reveals ripe fruit aromas of blueberry, raspberry and plum. These characters continue onto the palate, and are complemented by subtle, toasty oak characters.

The sassy Banrock Station Chardonnay reveals soft peach, pineapple and citrus aromas. A full palate is characterised by ripe tropical fruit flavours of peach, rockmelon and pear, coupled with subtle hints of oak. A clean and crisp finish balances this easy drinking style of wine.

This wine has the vibrant purple with deep red hues that Australian Shiraz's are renowned for. Aromas of black currant, cherry and spicy oak precede a soft and supple palate. Fresh fruit characters of cherry and red berry fruits are balanced by licorice and chocolate flavours.

Bright purple in colour with garnet hues, this wine has dominant fruit aromas of blackcurrant, plum, blueberry and spice. A medium bodied palate exhibits ripe, juicy fruit flavours, soft tannins and is balanced by some acidity, leaving a lingering finish.
